When you start any new position, your co-workers want to get to know you. What you are interested in. What your personality is like. Some care and some just want to know if you are going to be a fit with the company.
At LMC, to accomplish this, they have you write an introductory blog post. This could cover any number of topics, but what it also does is allow some of your personality to shine through. And it helped settle the argument of how to properly eat string cheese.
You can find my contribution here.

To grow the business of LMC, we would occasionally reach out to local businesses to highlight what they do and their contributions to the West Bend community.
This feature, called Biz Buzz, was then put on the LMC website to be shared not only on LMC's social media, but also the subject's social media.
I have done them for Laughing Mountain Popcorn, Cafe Floriana and Habitat for Humanity-Washington and Dodge Counties.
The one task I did the most was to create social media posts for our clients. From the West Bend Cinema to GrandCare and even LMC itself, I would create posts that were not only scheduled, but also made "in-the-moment."
These posts would highlight upcoming events, make relevant articles available for the reader and bring the client's name and brand to it's particular audience. Through monitoring of engagement, reach and reaction, I would schedule the posts so that they would reach the widest audience and have the greatest impact.
